Return of distance learning in schools – we support Bielsko students

Polmotors, together with the University of Bielsko-Biala, is launching a new research and development project under the European Funds for a Modern Economy programme. Entitled “Research and Development on the Design of Innovative Stamped Components Made from Third-Generation Ultra-High-Strength Steels Exhibiting the TRIP Effect”, the project comprises several modules, bringing together research and development, innovation implementation, digitalisation and skills development. This marks an important step towards creating advanced, lightweight and strong automotive body components. The project also represents a further stage in collaboration between academia and business and in the implementation of innovative technologies in modern industry.

Some moments hold special significance for us. One such moment was receiving the title of KSSE Brand Ambassador at the anniversary gala of the Katowice Special Economic Zone. This recognition confirms our belief that consistent growth, investment in quality and lasting business relationships create real value. Thank you for your trust and for recognising our contribution to the region’s development and our partnership with KSSE. The KSSE Brand Ambassador title honours companies that have made an outstanding contribution to the development of the zone and the regional economy. This achievement belongs to the entire Polmotors team — thank you to our Employees, Partners and Customers. It would not have been possible without you! We thank the Katowice Special Economic Zone for this special honour and congratulate you on your anniversary. We wish you many more years of ambitious projects and success!

We recently welcomed Production Management and Engineering students from the University of Bielsko-Biala to our facilities, showing them how theory translates into practice. At our Bestwińska Street plant, they explored cold and hot stamping processes, as well as laser cutting. At our Londzina site, they saw how a finished product takes shape — from component preparation through welding and resistance welding to shot blasting. Quality control using a GOM 3D scanner to assess part geometry also attracted considerable interest. The visit was led by engineers from our process engineering and production departments, including graduates of the same degree programme. It was a great opportunity to share our experience and show what working in modern industry looks like in practice.

Once again, we had the pleasure of taking part in the Job Fair organised by the University of Bielsko-Biala. It was a great opportunity to meet young, ambitious people — students and graduates eager to take their first steps in the automotive and engineering industries. At our stand, we spoke with many interested visitors, presented our work placement and internship opportunities, discussed career development at Polmotors and were happy to answer your questions. Supporting young talent and helping people begin their careers is very important to us.
