Body in White, Crash Management System Suspension and Seating Elements

A wide range of automotive products – from complex assemblies to single stampings – tailored to leading OEMs and manufactured to the highest industry standards.

B-PILLAR ASSY

A key vertical structural element in the vehicle’s body-in-white (BIW), located between the front and rear doors. It connects the roof to the floor and the side sill, forming a central load-bearing point in the side structure of the vehicle.

LONGERON ASSY

The longeron assembly (longitudinal member) is a key load-bearing component of the vehicle’s body-in-white (BIW), typically extending along the front or rear underside of the car, aligned longitudinally from the bumper area toward the passenger zone.

SINGLE STAMPINGS

Single Stampings used within the Seating Elements system are individual, non-assembled metal components formed from flat sheet material, designed to support, mount, or reinforce specific areas of the vehicle’s seat structure.

REAR BUMPERS ASSY

The rear bumper assembly is a structural and protective component. It forms part of the Crash Management System (CMS) and is designed to absorb impact energy in the event of rear-end collisions while also supporting various functional elements.

PRODUCTION RELOCATION

Polmotors Toolshop has capability to design, manufacture, modify, and maintain stamping dies and welding fixtures used in the production of metal components.

This service includes the production of hot-stamping, progressive, transfer, tandem, and prototype dies, as well as jigs, checking fixtures, and assembly tools tailored to customer-specific requirements.

Tooling is developed using CAD/CAM systems, precision machining, try-out presses, and validated through part trials.

Toolshop supports new program launches, engineering changes, and tool relocation activities, ensuring dimensional accuracy, repeatability, and process stability.
It plays a key role in reducing tooling lead time and securing production readiness.

Automation is a part of Polmotors service. We design, integrate, and implement automated solutions for metal forming and assembly processes to enhance production efficiency, repeatability, and quality.

This service includes the development and commissioning of robotic welding cells, handling systems, automated fastening, vision control, part tracking, and interface integration with existing production lines. Both fully automated and semi-automated stations are made to customer and process-specific requirements.

All automation systems are developed and installed by Magna’s experienced engineering teams in close coordination with production and quality departments.

Prototypes is the early-stage components or assemblies developed at our facility to support product validation, process trials, and customer approvals before serial production begins.

This service includes the manufacturing of metal parts using soft or pre-serial tools, enabling quick adaptation of forming, welding, and assembly processes. Prototypes range from simple stampings to complex structural assemblies and are produced in low volumes under controlled conditions.

Prototypes are essential for functional tests, crash simulations, dimensional verification, and design iteration phases. We support OEM development timelines and ensure smooth transition into serial production.

All prototype activities are performed by experienced Polmotors teams using dedicated prototype equipment and flexible production cells.

R&D Center is Polmotors dedicated research and development service focused on supporting innovation, product design and optimization, across metal forming and assembly technologies.

This service includes design and engineering support, CAE simulations (crash, stiffness, formability), material and joining trials, as well as the development of new lightweight structures and manufacturing concepts. The R&D Center also supports prototype builds, test part validations, and feasibility studies for serial production.

R&D activities are tightly integrated with customer development phases, ensuring alignment with OEM technical targets, innovation roadmaps, and future mobility requirements. It plays a key role in early-phase concept validation and continuous improvement of Polmotors product and process portfolio. All R&D operations are executed by specialized engineering team using advanced software and testing equipment.

Production relocation refers to the process of transferring metal stamping tools (such as progressive, transfer, tandem dies) or assembly lines between production sites to Polmotors, for optimization of manufacturing efficiency, costs reduction, and new production demands to be  meet.

This service involves the handling of tooling systems used from simple to highly complex stampings and consist strategic adaptation to different press types and production environments.

In case of assembly processes, adaptation to existing equipment or relocation of complete systems is performed. This service ensures continuity in manufacturing in new location at Polmotors plants.

This service is performed by qualified Polmotors personnel, specialized in such activities.
